Kabli Korean BBQ Short Ribs

Kalbi is a Korean dish made from marinated beef short ribs that are grilled to perfection. The magic of Kalbi lies in its marinade—a harmonious blend of soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and other aromatic ingredients that infuse the meat with a sweet, savory, and slightly smoky flavor. The result? Tender, juicy ribs that are bursting with umami goodness.

  • 4-5 pounds flanken style beef short ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 green onions, bulb thinly sliced (save greens for garnish)

  3. Place all marinade ingredients in the bag and gently squeeze to mix ingredients.
  4. Seal the bag and place it in the fridge.
